CURLY COTTON - a brand new Summer Bouclé by Gepard!
Curly Cotton is a unique, exciting, and incredibly lightweight bouclé tweed yarn, spun primarily from cotton & silk and featuring a beautifully distinctive texture.
Its special spinning process and the fine balance of cotton, silk, and a touch of extra-fine merino create a yarn that is soft, flexible, and gentle against the skin, while also being wonderfully easy to knit. Stitches glide smoothly on the needles, and the texture just happens!
The fabric it creates is light and comfy, with a lovely drape that holds its shape, while maintaining a relaxed and lively look.Â
Curly Cotton can be worked on a range of needle sizes so you can find the exact fabric you're after. For a more structured, slightly Chanel-inspired jacket, use 3.5 mm (US 4). For a more relaxed, easy-fitting sweater, try 4.5 mm (US 7).
Combining bouclé and tweed, this yarn has oodles of depth and interest. It also works really well paired with a Silk Mohair, Cashmere Lace, or a 4 ply cotton if you want to add more fullness.
