Spun from 100% recycled Italian cashmere, this yarn is sourced from surplus materials from top Italian fashion houses—meaning you’re knitting with the same ultra-luxurious fibres used in high-end designer pieces.

A Note from Gepard:
Cashmere is a fiber that loves room to breathe. This yarn is alreawdy finely washed and then hanked. You can make your yarn even softer and fuller by steaming it. It will make it even more wonderful to knit with.
How to steam your yarn:
• Remove label, and untwist the hank. Give it a little shake to loosen the loops.
• Fill a large soup pot with approx 2cm of water in the bottom and bring to the boil.
• Place a metal sieve over the pot and place yarn lightly and loosely in the sieve - 1 hank at a time.
• Wait 1-3 mins, until you see the yarn as expanded. Feel free to move the yarn along a bit so the steam is well distributed.
• Hang the hank to air for approx 30 mins.
(If you choose not to steam the yarn, it will become more voluminous after the first wash, which may alter gauge and tightness of stitches.) -
