My Joy & My Joy Up-Cycling is a lovely soft baby alpaca, merino & organic cotton blend - it's exactly the same as Snefnug by CaMaRose.
Another wonderful "blown yarn" where fibres of the finest grade of baby alpaca and merino are contained in an airy cotton tube. This produces a soft, strong, light and strong yarn that's amazing for both garments and accessories.
Think "Puno", but without the plastic! And slightly more substantial, thanks to the plastic being replaced with cotton.
My Joy Up-Cycling is made from high quality leftover wool collected at Gepard's spinmill. The leftovers are colour sorted, and then blown into the organic cotton tubes to create joyful colourways.
Note that Up-Cycling colourways are limited and once they are gone, they are gone.
These yarns are EXACTLY the same as Snefnug & Snefnug Natur, so feel free to mix and match.
(Shades 160, 136, 146, 194, 143, 158, 150, 103 are made with natural, undyed alpaca fleece. We find them very slightly softer than the dyed yarns.)

Both My Joy & Upcycling are OEKO TEX 100 certified, and produced in Italy with no additional artificial softeners nor silicone. My Joy is perfect for babies and anyone with sensitive skin. It’s also an eco-conscious and economical choice: the yarn goes further than traditionally spun yarns of similar composition, meaning fewer skeins are needed for the same high-quality result — without compromising on luxury. -
