The wonderful Mary Pranica has designed an alternative yoke for the iconic Islington Sweater in celebration of Just One More Row! (please excuse the crappy WIP pics taken from this Instagram Live - better ones on the way!)
Another FABULOUS design by Mary Pranica - we LOVE this gorgeous pattern written for brand new Woolstok Tweed by Blue Sky Fibres.A classic yoked sweater that plays with purls and knits in the colourwork. The textured waves are the perfect compliment to the neps of Woolstok Tweed.
We adore the neck shaping on this sweater too. Milli wears hers all the time!
We've made kits using the original colours shown.
Your Kit Includes:
• Woolstok Tweed yarn:
- 5 (6, 7, 7, 8) (8, 9, 9, 10) hanks in Col A (Midsummer Night)
- 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 3, 3, 4) hanks in Col B (Rolled Oats)
- 1 hank in Col C (Prairie Sky)
- 1 hank in Col D (Blue Lichen)
- 1 hank in Col E (Deep Earth)
• PDF Pattern for Islington Sweater delivered via Ravelry, and additional Oarsome Chart delivered in a separate email. • OPTIONAL Blue Sky Fibers Drawstring Project Bag. Made of heavy, unbleached cotton canvas. Generously sized at 15.25″ W x 12.75″ H x 5.5″ D
You will also need:
• 5.5mm (US 9) circular needles in 16" and 32"
• 6.0mm (US 10) circular needles in 16" and 32"
• 5.5mm dpns or shorties (or magic loop) for your sleeves
• 6.0mm dpns or shorties (or magic loop) for your sleeves
• Stitch holders or waste yarn, stitch markers in contrasting colours, tapestry needle.
